Terms of Service

1. Parties

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Empowered Solutions Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of AppMap (accessible at solostack.live).

2. Acceptance

By creating an account, accessing, or otherwise using AppMap, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

3. The service

AppMap is a visual app architecture mapping tool for solo founders and indie builders. It lets you sketch, save, and share the stack of services and components that make up your application.

We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time. We may add, change, or remove features at our discretion.

4. Payments and merchant of record

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, who act as our merchant of record. By completing a purchase you also agree to Paddle's terms of service at paddle.com/legal. Paddle handles billing, taxes, invoicing, and payment-related customer service inquiries.

5. Subscriptions and billing

AppMap offers paid subscriptions:

• Pro — billed monthly at $9/month.
• Agency — billed monthly at $49/month.

Subscriptions are billed in advance and automatically renew at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Prices are exclusive of any applicable taxes, which Paddle will calculate and add at checkout where required.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. When you cancel, your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period; you will not be charged again after that.

7. Refunds

We offer a 14-day refund window from the date of purchase, no questions asked. To request a refund within that window, email legal@empoweredsolutions.ltd. Refunds are issued through Paddle to the original payment method.

8. Acceptable use

When using AppMap, you agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract data from the service.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service or any part of it.
• Use the service for any unlawful or fraudulent activity.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Interfere with the security or integrity of the service, including probing, scanning, or introducing malware.

9. Intellectual property

AppMap, including its software, design, branding, and content we provide, is owned by Empowered Solutions Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within the plan you have selected.

You retain ownership of the stack data and content you create in AppMap. You grant us a limited license to host and process that content solely to provide the service to you.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our policies. You may stop using the service and close your account at any time.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of AppMap is capped at the amounts you paid us in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (such as for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence).

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
